I haven’t lost any more weight, and I am feeling a plateau of sorts.
BUT
I am two sizes smaller! I was a size 30W now I’m a 26W! Woot! But it took losing 51 pounds. So, apparently, when you get this large, you have to lose about 25 pounds to lose a size. Is it that way when you’re smaller?
Anyway, I had ordered a blouse in that size, thinking I wouldn’t be able to wear it for a few weeks. But I can! And I felt SO PRETTY in it. It’s a lacy, romantic blouse (not the one in the picture), and I felt just so beautiful that day.
I got several compliments on it, too.
Today I wore one of my regular fat lady shirts, and a little girl said to me, “_____, you are really losing weight, that shirt is way too big for you now!”
I could have kissed her!
My next goal is to get to size 24! If I can get to that size so many more clothing options will open up for me because a lot of stores don’t carry clothing over size 24.
I can hardly wait! It’s what’s keeping me from getting discouraged about the plateau.
