Checking in again. I need to do this daily but have had a difficult time facing it I think, or I just forget.
I’m still struggling with making this A-#1 priority.  That is, documenting my progress, and being obsessed with it. I don’t know if that’s good or bad. Part of me thinks that I need to learn to make this just a regular part of my life instead of an obsession. But another part of me thinks I need to obsess at first in order for it to be a habit.
This past week I’ve been on sort of a juice fast. I’ve been drinking juice for breakfast and lunch and then eating a small supper. I know I won’t be able to maintain this forever. I just thought I’d give my body some time to adjust to fewer calories this way. We’ll see.
I’m still not exercising as I should. I have a friend who is willing to be my accountability partner and she’s young and athletic, so I think it’s going to work out well. I guess I’ve sort of been putting it off until she and I can map out a plan. I shouldn’t. I should get down there to the basement (where the equipment is) and just do it.
